Through Yoga Nidra Meditation, there is the opportunity to slow down, be still and truly listen to the wisdom of the body. Yoga nidra meditation is “yogic sleep.” Through a series of guided instruction, the body is led into a state of supreme relaxation. Initially, yoga nidra feels like a really nourishing nap, but ultimately it is a way to connect with much deeper parts of yourself, tapping into your inner wisdom and connecting with your inspiration. Forty-five minutes of yoga nidra meditation feels like three hours of sleep in the body.
Through deep conscious rest and stillness we can connect more deeply with our inner wisdom and intuition; grounding deeply into the present moment. As we focus on our breath and drop into the present moment, we soothe our nervous system and reset into a more calm and settled presence and sense of self. From this embodied sense of self we can relate to others and the world around us with a greater sense of coherence and ease.
Our presence is our power. I feel most empowered when I align myself in the present moment; trusting that part of myself that just knows it knows.
